But if you’re anything like us, you know that the magic of the season is best enjoyed where there’s small-town hospitality in abundance. So in typical Rockin’ Star Ranch style, we’ve made a list of the most festive events in Brenham in 2025, as our gift to you.
Sugar Plum Market
Saturday, November 22
If you love the idea of a one-stop shopping spree fuelled by festive food and music, you can’t go wrong at the Sugar Plum Market. With an impressive list of vendors across all categories, you can tick off the whole family’s gift list in one day.
The best part is that there are no admission or parking fees, and you won’t have to fight large crowds like at some of the bigger city markets. So come on down to the Brenham Fireman’s Training Center between 9 am and 4 pm to experience one of the best shopping events in Brenham.
Cocoa Crawl

Make your way to Downtown Brenham for the 3rd annual Coco Crawl in support of Small Business Saturday, and show our local shops some love while sipping delicious cocoa samples to warm your spirits.
Running from 11 am to 4 pm, it’s a wonderful way to experience Brenham’s small-town charm. Plus, who doesn’t love free cocoa?
Christmas Stroll & Lighted Parade

Christmas in Texas wouldn’t be complete without a parade or two, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate the season than gathering the community together for the annual Christmas Stroll & Lighted Parade.
If you're looking for one of those Texas holiday events that has something for all ages, this is where it’s at. The festivities kick off on Friday, with a theme of “A Very Vintage Christmas” and include activities ranging from Breakfast with Santa and caroling to live music and dance performances.
But the real magic happens on Saturday at 6 pm, as a lighted parade makes its way through the streets of Downtown Brenham. It’s enough to make even the most practical adult feel the wonder of Christmas once more.
✨ And this year, Rockin’ Star Ranch will be joining the parade with a festive float of our own! Keep an eye out for us—we’ll be bringing a whole lot of Texas charm, twinkle lights, and ranch-style holiday spirit to the lineup.

The Greatest Gift Nativity Display
Friday, December 5 - Saturday, December 6
Celebrate the “Reason for the Season” at The Greatest Gift Nativity Display, between 6 pm and 9 pm each evening. Featuring over 400 international nativity displays, including a live nativity with animals, this is one of the most beloved annual holiday events in Brenham.
A live music performance by local artists will take place on Friday, December 5th, at 7 pm, adding an extra layer of cheer and making it the perfect outing for family and friends alike.
Christmas Craft Class - Ornament Painting
Saturday, Dec 13, 2025
When you sign up for Christmas Craft Class - Ornament Painting at the Antique Rose Emporium, you’ll get to take home more than just a few new skills. You’ll also bring home a beautifully painted ornament to remind you of your happy holidays in Brenham.
Running from 11 am to 12 pm, this event is for ages 13 and up and costs just $10 per person.

When you’re making a list of the most festive events in Brenham, it’s impossible to leave out nearby Chappell Hill.
Just a short drive away, the self-guided Chappell Hill Christmas Home Tour offers a peek into beautifully decorated historic homes between 10 am and 5 pm on Saturday, December 13.
If you’re looking for something to keep the kiddos entertained, head to the Annual Teddy Bear Parade from 3:30 pm to 5 pm — also on Saturday, December 13. Little ones will have an opportunity to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, take part in plenty of festive activities, and join in the Teddy Bear Parade down Main Street.
