Cotton Gin Classic Car and Truck Show — June 13, 2026
Just 15 minutes outside of Brenham, step back in time at Burton’s 8th annual Classic Car and Truck Show. Witness cars and trucks from 1999 and earlier being judged, and maybe even buy an event t-shirt as a souvenir. In the event of bad weather, a rain date is already set for June 20th.

Chappell Hill Annual Independence Day Parade — July 4, 2026
This year’s parade is extra special — Chappell Hill is celebrating 250 years of American independence at the “Biggest Little Small Town Parade” in Texas! Wave your flag, cheer on the Famous Marching Kazoo Band, and soak in a whole lotta love for the red, white, and blue. It all kicks off at 10:00 am in Downtown Chappell Hill.
Hot Nights, Cool Tunes — July 11, 18 & 25, 2026
The 22nd Annual Hot Nights, Cool Tunes summer concert series is back with three nights of free live music in Downtown Brenham!
New for 2026: the series has moved one block south to Public Parking Lot E at 305 S. Park St. Bring your lawn chairs, grab a cold drink, and enjoy the summer night. Music starts at 7:00 pm — no concert on July 4th.
Chappell Hill Wine & Cheese Stroll — August 8, 2026
Spend a laid-back afternoon strolling through Chappell Hill, sipping wine and sampling cheese from all the local shops. It’s the perfect way to close out your summer vacation in Texas, in true Brenham style.

Flying Horses Carousel
Set in the heart of Fireman’s Park, this antique carousel delivers a heart-warming combination of nostalgia and delight while keeping you cool inside the 16-sided pavilion.
Easy on the pockets at only $1 per ride, it’s also one of only five classic wood carousels left in Texas — and the oldest of the bunch.
Splash Pad at Henderson Park
Located across the street from Fireman’s Park, the Splash Pad at Henderson Park is the perfect way to cool down on a toasty Texas afternoon.
