"Theres something about the outside of a horse that's good for the inside of a man"

Say Hello To our Program Director, Ms. Annie

Ms Annie and her stallion, CTR Peptos Whiskey aka “Noodle" competed in their first Western Dressage world show in Tulsa Oklahoma in 2013, brining home several ribbons and memories.  Noodle and Annie continued their work in Texas employed together where they spent many days learning and practicing their cattle work, doctoring yearling heifers and spending countless hours in the saddle.

In 2017, she competed in the American Cutting Horse Association and won 2 World Titles in the 50,000 Amateur and 5/6 year old Amateur Non Pro Classic divisions on her gelding Royalreytraildust.

Annie continues to pursue her passions for riding and learning by continuing to take lessons to expand her knowledge and fine tune her work with horses, horsemanship and working with young horses.  You may also find Annie strapping on her farrier chaps and picking up our horses’ feet to tend to their hoof care, as she is also an accomplished farrier!  In fact, we originally met Ms. Annie back in 2014 first as our hoof care provider and we’re now excited to have her leading our horseback riding program!!

Testimonial

Annie was an amazing host! My wife and I showed up about 30 min early and she had no issue with it at all. She gave us an amazing experience. She toured us on horse back around the entire property but most importantly she showed us how to have respect and care for the horse we rode! I highly recommend this activity, the value was amazing for the cost. I rarely write reviews but I was very impressed with everything about this trip!

Testimonial

This was hands down one of the best and most personalized horse back riding experiences we've ever had. Annie went above and beyond. We were immersed into learning, preparing and caring for the horses all while being given hands on instruction and guidance for riding. This experience was more like riding with old friends and left us wishing we could've kept riding all day. It's hard to put into words how great this experience was, but if you're searching for a true TX ranch style riding experience look no further than Annie and the Rockin' Star Ranch!
